John Lofgren Bootmaker

John Lofgren Bootmaker was founded by John Lofgren, a native Californian with a deep passion for vintage clothing. This enthusiasm led him to Japan, where he opened a store that made clothes in sizes specifically for American customers. This gave him valuable experience that inspired him to design and manufacture his own shoes. In 2012, he launched his first model: a black engineer boot made from horween chromexcel leather. This milestone marked the beginning of a brand that - despite its young age - is already one of the best shoe manufacturers in the world. Each pair is made in Japan by master craftsmen with “Shokuninkishitsu” - a craftsman's mentality characterized by pride, dedication and a relentless pursuit of perfection.
