Whitesville was a leading American sportswear brand in the mid-20th century, known for its varsity jackets, sweatshirts, and especially its T-shirts until the late 1950s. Rooted in classic collegiate sportswear, the brand stood for functional everyday basics.
Today, Whitesville is produced under the license of Toyo Enterprise, which faithfully reproduces the original garments in Japan using traditional knitting techniques and carefully selected cotton yarns.
At the heart of the collection are the iconic 2-Pack tubular knit T-Shirts. Made on loopwheel machines, they feature a seamless construction without side seams, a durable jersey fabric, and a high stitch density for long-term shape retention. The shirts gained wider recognition after appearing in The Bear, cementing their status as premium everyday basics.
