Freenote Cloth

Founded in 2013 by brothers Matt and Andrew Brodrick in San Juan Capistrano, Freenote Cloth set out to create menswear that honors authentic American culture while meeting the highest standards of craftsmanship. Their collections draw on timeless style icons—from denim workwear to Western shirting—reinterpreted with a modern sensibility.

Every garment is cut, sewn, and finished in California, with the founders involved in each stage of the process. Fabrics are sourced from the most respected mills worldwide, including Japanese selvedge denim and premium European textiles. Buttons, rivets, and trims are chosen with the same obsessive care, ensuring strength, longevity, and distinctive character.

Freenote’s philosophy is simple: clothing should improve with age. A pair of jeans or a well-built shirt becomes more personal the longer it’s worn. With durability, detail, and design at its core, Freenote Cloth has become a benchmark for American-made menswear that connects past and present in every stitch.
