Stevenson Overall Co. was revived after a fateful encounter between Zip Stevenson and Atsusuke Tagaya. Since then, the brand has been dedicated to refining its craftsmanship under this name. Originally based in Portland, Indiana, during the 1920s and ’30s, Stevenson Overall Co. was relaunched in 2005, driven by Stevenson and Tagaya’s shared passion for vintage denim and leather goods. Their goal was to preserve the art of crafting jeans with flat-felled seams - a technique used before the 1920s. Though unconventional today, this meticulous method maintains the authenticity and unique character of handmade garments. Stevenson Overall Co.’s collections draw inspiration from vintage clothing, fabrics, and art. The brand revives forgotten designs, blending nostalgia with modern relevance - timeless and universal.
