Viberg Boot - Since 1931

In 1931, in the vast plains of Saskatchewan, Canada, Ed Viberg founded the shoe brand of the same name, Viberg. What began with the manufacture of robust industrial products for agriculture, including heavy boots for lumberjacks, developed into a symbol of masterful shoemaking. Viberg is best known for its iconic service boots such as the 310 or 2030. The Service Boot impresses not only with its shape, but also with its iconic stitch-down construction: two parallel seams that securely connect the flanged leather upper to the outsole. This handcrafted technique not only gives the shoe stability, but also makes it an unmistakable work of art. The family-run factory, now in its third generation and based in Victoria, Canada, produces just 50 pairs of shoes every day. Every single step is carried out with the utmost care and by hand.
