Sun Surf was founded in the 1970s by Toyo Enterprise. The brand specializes in the reproduction of rayon Hawaiian shirts from the golden age between 1930 and 1950, which are considered vintage shirts. Since its inception, Sun Surf has collected and carefully analyzed thousands of these shirts to produce authentic replicas. The production uses traditional printing techniques such as discharge or overprinting to reproduce the rich, vibrant colors and intricate patterns of the originals.
