Samurai Jeans
Founded in 1998 by Tohru Nogami in Osaka, Samurai Jeans puts the emphasis on heavier more textured denims. Using low speed looms and skills perfected over generations Samurai Jeans creates a denim that is like a samurai blade itself: strong and reliable. In addition Samurai adds a good deal of detail to their Jeans. Like the Selvedge ID on Samurai Jeans that feature a strand of silver thread which resembles a Samurai sword. Or the leather patch that often shows famous warriors or Incidents that influenced/determined the Japanese culture.
