Fullcount

Founded by Mikiharu Tsujita in 1993, Fullcount is part of Japan’s legendary Osaka Five and a pioneer in the global selvedge denim movement. Tsujita’s goal was simple: to recreate the feeling of perfect vintage jeans - soft, honest, and built to last.

Fullcount was the first Japanese brand to use hand-picked Zimbabwean cotton, prized for its long-staple fibers and natural texture. The denim is woven on restored shuttle looms and sewn entirely in Japan, using vintage machines maintained by skilled artisans. Fades, creases, and patina emerge slowly - a story written by time and wear.

This same philosophy extends to Fullcount’s Sweatshirts and T-Shirts, knitted on loopwheel (tsuriami) machines in Wakayama - the last place on earth where these slow, gravity-powered machines still operate. The result is a lightweight, airy fabric with an unmistakably vintage feel.

Fullcount crafts garments that evolve with you - quiet, purposeful, and full of character.
