Iron Heart 9oz Selvedge Flannel Check Work Shirt – Orange / IHSH-442

Iron Heart’s lighter flannel series continues with the IHSH-442-ORA, combining the brand’s unmistakable workwear construction with a bold seasonal plaid inspired by the sought-after IHSH-399-ORA from FW24. Cut from a 9oz selvedge unbrushed flannel, this version offers the same durability and texture Iron Heart is known for, but in a cooler and more breathable format suited for spring and transitional weather.

The custom orange check pattern is woven on one of only four shuttle looms in Japan capable of producing these highly intricate plaids. Because the weaving process requires continuous weft yarn changes mid-weave, production is exceptionally demanding and limited. Unlike earlier 9oz flannels designed to fade over time, this fabric uses reactive-dyed yarns for excellent color retention and a richer, more stable finish.

Finished with white 4-hole buttons, chainstitched side seams, felled internal construction, and signature orange bobbin thread detailing, the IHSH-442-ORA perfectly balances classic American workwear style with distinctive Japanese textile craftsmanship. A real standout piece and an absolute killer for spring and beyond.
