The exterior is crafted from 1.3mm semi-aniline horsehide, the same leather used in The Flat Head’s renowned jackets. Over time, the black surface gradually reveals its rich brown tea core, creating a unique patina shaped by daily use. The leather is wet-moulded into a rigid three-dimensional form, giving the case both durability and a distinctive appearance.

Inside, foldable leather gussets prevent contents from slipping out while allowing smooth access through the heavy-duty brass zipper. Every stitch is sewn by hand, requiring careful tension control and skilled craftsmanship to achieve the clean, balanced finish The Flat Head is known for.
