The Flat Head Deerskin Suede Bomber Jacket – Black

The Flat Head’s Deerskin Suede Bomber Jacket combines the compact proportions of a classic military bomber with exceptionally supple Japanese deerskin and distinctive details that give the jacket a refined yet unmistakable character.

Made in Japan from chrome-tanned deerskin, the jacket uses carefully selected hides from wild deer native to Japan’s cold mountainous regions. Skilled tanning preserves the natural character of the leather while creating a balance of softness, body, and shape retention. The thick suede surface gives the black leather its deep, textured appearance and remarkably soft hand, making it particularly comfortable for everyday wear.

The short bomber silhouette is finished with The Flat Head’s original knitted ribbing at the cuffs and hem. A contrasting knit structure through the center creates a pronounced three-dimensional pattern and adds another characteristic detail to the otherwise clean design.

Inside, a bold leopard-print rayon lining transforms the jacket’s military inspiration into something distinctly The Flat Head. Beyond its striking appearance, the smooth rayon makes layering easy and allows unrestricted movement through the sleeves. Two generously sized interior pockets provide practical storage for a smartphone and everyday essentials.

A substantial brass-tone Riri front zipper completes the jacket, combining smooth operation and durability with a vintage-inspired appearance that complements the rich texture of the suede.
