Part of Sugar Cane's celebrated Fiction Romance collection, this short-sleeve work shirt revives the character of rare vintage workwear through meticulous historical research and exceptional Japanese craftsmanship. Inspired by archival indigo-dyed textiles, the custom-developed plaid combines indigo, yellow, and unbleached warp yarns with indigo and natural nep yarns in the weft, creating remarkable depth, subtle irregularity, and a richly textured surface that will evolve beautifully with wear.

Woven from lightweight 5.25oz cotton, the fabric offers excellent breathability while maintaining the authentic feel of early American work shirts. Two flap chest pockets, reinforced side seam gussets, and durable chainstitched construction reflect the practical details found on original utility garments.
