Studio D’Artisan’s Natural Indigo Jeans combine contemporary tailoring with one of Japan’s oldest dyeing traditions. Cut in a relaxed tapered silhouette, the jeans offer room through the top block with a clean taper toward the hem. Woven from a 15oz selvedge denim, the fabric is dyed with 100% natural indigo, delivering rich depth in color and a smooth, slightly fibrous surface that softens beautifully over time.

In collaboration with indigo artisans from Tokushima, the yarns are rope-dyed, making this denim both more uniform in texture and more accessible in price. Despite this, the character of natural indigo remains: the dye’s organic irregularities create a gentle three-dimensional effect and a warm visual tone that is unique to nature-based dyes.
