Samurai Jeans S0710XX-BOB ‘Aoki Tachikage‘ 15oz Selvedge Denim – Slim Straight / Black on Blue

What looks like a clean black jean at first glance quickly reveals its true depth. The S0710XX-BOB from Samurai Jeans is part of the limited “Aoki Tachikage” series, inspired by the flash of a samurai blade in the dark. Beneath its almost-black surface lies a complex character that evolves over time. As you wear it, the outer black layer fades to indigo, and eventually exposes the natural white core — creating a dynamic, high-contrast aging process that makes every pair unique.

At the core is a 15oz Japanese selvedge denim, woven from #6 slub yarns for a rich, uneven texture. The warp yarns are rope-dyed in indigo and overdyed with black sulfide, while the weft is sulfur-dyed black, fading to grey with wear. Finished with silver lamé selvedge ID, blue-coated metal buttons, copper rivets, and custom jacquard pocket bags, every detail reflects Samurai’s obsessive craftsmanship. The Slim Straight fit offers a medium rise, room in the top block, and a clean straight leg.
