The Iron Heart IH-634S-SLB combines the brand's signature straight fit with one of the most distinctive fabrics ever produced by Iron Heart. Woven in Japan from a 16oz slubby selvedge denim, this fabric is intentionally loose and irregular, creating dramatic variations in the twill and an unmistakably textured surface. Thanks to the slow weaving process and pronounced loom chatter, every yard of denim carries a unique character that continues to evolve with wear.
Despite its substantial weight, the open weave gives the fabric a softer hand and greater breathability than many heavyweight denims. Indigo rope-dyed warp yarns gradually reveal vibrant blue highlights while the highly irregular slub texture develops striking vertical fades and a beautifully grainy appearance unique to this denim.
Inspired by the proportions of the iconic 1966 American Jeans, the 634 features a comfortable mid rise, a clean top block, and a timeless straight leg with a subtle taper below the knee. The wider leg opening pairs naturally with heritage boots while remaining versatile enough for everyday footwear. Finished with hidden rear pocket rivets, heavyweight pocket bags, chainstitched construction, a traditional button fly, and a vegetable-tanned steerhide leather patch, the IH-634S-SLB offers one of the most characterful fading experiences in the entire Iron Heart collection.
