Inspired by U.S. Navy work jackets of the 1930s/40s, the Fullcount USN Shawl Collar Coverall combines authentic military design with the comfort and craftsmanship of modern Japanese production.
Made in Japan from 100% cotton Black Military Herringbone Twill, the fabric is woven using sturdy 10-count yarns. Traditionally associated with military utility garments, this herringbone cloth offers excellent durability while maintaining the soft hand feel that Fullcount is known for. As the fabric ages, it develops subtle character and depth through wear.
The jacket features a classic shawl collar, large front patch pockets, and authentic anchor-engraved change buttons inspired by vintage naval uniforms. Originally designed for easy replacement aboard ships, these removable-style buttons remain one of the most distinctive details of historic U.S. Navy workwear. A cropped length, relaxed body, and minimally tapered sleeves provide freedom of movement, while small hem vent openings preserve another faithful vintage detail.
