First Arrow’s ‘Feather’ Bangle – 950 Silver / BR-105

The Feather Bangle by First Arrow’s is an impressive expression of Japanese silversmithing, shaped from solid 950 silver and defined by one of the brand’s most important motifs. Measuring approximately 16mm at its widest point, the bangle wraps around the wrist in the form of a large, sculptural eagle feather.

Each piece is formed and finished by hand in First Arrow’s Tokyo studio. The individual feather lines are painstakingly engraved and hammered into the silver one by one, creating remarkable depth and movement across both sides of the bangle. As the silver naturally oxidizes with wear, the recessed details darken and become increasingly pronounced, giving each piece its own evolving character.

The feather flows into a finely sculpted eagle head, creating an elegant transition between the two central symbols of the design. Inspired by Native American art and symbolism, the eagle represents strength, courage, honor, and spiritual connection, while its feathers are traditionally associated with respect, freedom, and wisdom. First Arrow’s translates this powerful imagery through its own distinctly Japanese approach to craftsmanship rather than simply reproducing traditional jewelry.

Made from Silver 950, an alloy chosen by First Arrow’s for its balance of hardness, color, and natural luster, the BR-105 has a substantial presence while retaining the organic character of a hand-worked piece. Even areas rarely seen while worn receive the same meticulous attention, reflecting the uncompromising workmanship for which First Arrow’s is known.
