Deluxeware ‘Tochigi’ Steerhide Leather Bracelet – Solid Brass Hook / Brown

Sometimes the smallest accessories say the most about craftsmanship. The Deluxeware Leather Bracelet is a perfect example of Japanese restraint and material honesty. Built from just two components — extra-thick 6mm Tochigi steerhide and a handcrafted solid brass hook — the bracelet focuses entirely on quality, durability, and timeless design.

The leather comes from Tochigi Leather, one of Japan’s most respected tanneries, known for producing firm, vegetable-tanned hides with exceptional aging potential. Cut from a single raised strip of steerhide, the leather gradually softens with wear while developing a deep natural patina. The closure is an individually crafted brass hook, produced by skilled metalworkers in Numazu, Shizuoka, and engraved with “SOLIDE ORIGINAL.” Over time, the brass darkens naturally, complementing the evolving character of the leather.

Each bracelet is hand-finished in Chikuma, Nagano Prefecture, where craftsmen apply the gold foil-stamped Deluxeware branding and complete the final assembly.
