History meets attitude. Buzz Rickson's ‘442nd BOMB. SQ.’ tee brings the fearless spirit of WWII bomber crews to life, featuring Donald Duck clutching a bomb - an iconic piece of nose art from the 442nd Bomb Squadron (part of the Twelfth Air Force unit). Underneath, “Shoo-Shoo-Baby” (a wartime hit by the Andrews Sisters) echoes the names once painted on the sides of B-17 and B-26 bombers. In this case, based at Mitchel Field, NY, a historical USAAF airfield on Long Island. The Twelfth Air Force emblem on the back seals the deal.
The loopwheeled body, assembled in the USA from soft, mid-weight cotton, is hand-printed in Japan.
