Ampal Creative ‘Don't Think Twice’ Snapback Cap – Natural / Herringbone

At first glance, the Ampal Creative Don't Think Twice Snapback looks like a classic vintage patch cap, but the story behind it runs much deeper. The artwork combines several layers of American pop culture: a mid-century cartoon-inspired character riding a rocket, a visual nod to Stanley Kubrick’s Dr. Strangelove, and the title of Bob Dylan’s iconic 1963 song Don't Think Twice, It's All Right.

The design was created by Ampal founder Amos Oren as a tribute to his friend “Wiley,” an adventurous surfer whose willingness to follow seemingly impossible ideas became the inspiration for the cap’s message. Sometimes the craziest plans turn out to be the best ones.

Made in Los Angeles, California, the cap features a fully woven cotton herringbone twill construction with a vintage-style felt patch and a comfortable unstructured fit. Combining the relaxed character of a classic baseball cap with the deeper profile of a traditional trucker cap, it is built for everyday wear while carrying a story worth telling.
