Fullcount 4890 8oz Selvedge Denim Work Shirt – Indigo

Rooted in classic American workwear and early U.S. Navy shirting, Fullcount’s Lot 4890 is a timeless denim work shirt built around one of the brand’s signature materials: Zimbabwe cotton.

The 8oz selvedge denim combines an indigo-dyed warp with a gray weft, a detail inspired by fabrics found in 1930s U.S. Navy garments. Zimbabwe cotton is prized for its long fibers and naturally soft hand, giving the denim a comfortable feel while retaining the character and durability expected from traditional workwear. With wear and washing, the indigo will gradually fade while the gray interior adds depth to the evolving color.

Construction is equally considered. Fine-gauge sewing threads create unusually precise stitching and encourage beautiful puckering along the seams as the shirt ages. Two large buttoned chest pockets, flat-felled seams, dark custom buttons, and side gussets at the hem complete the vintage-inspired build.

The fit stays true to Fullcount’s understated approach: straightforward, balanced, and neither overly loose nor slim. Rinsed for a soft, broken-in feel and minimal further shrinkage.
