A tribute to the legendary US Navy squadron VF-17 (founded in 1943), this Buzz Rickson's tee features a printed pirate flag and front and back stencil prints - partially overlapping the ribbed collar - inspired by authentic WWII uniform markings. Known as the "Jolly Rogers“, VF-17 was the first unit to fly the Corsair fighter - famous for its distinctive gull wings, high speed, and exceptional performance in the Pacific campaign - and proudly adopted the pirate’s skull-and-crossbones emblem.
The tubular-knit slub yarn fabric is made from uneven threads, creating a uniquely textured surface.
