Iron Heart 12oz Slubby Ultra Heavy Flannel Check Western Shirt – Brown / IHSH-431

The IHSH-431 brings Iron Heart’s heavy flannel philosophy into a new territory of texture. Unlike the perfectly even surface of their Ultra Heavy Flannels, this 12oz slubby weave uses irregular cotton yarns that create a rugged, highly tactile feel on the outside — a fabric with depth, shadows, and character. The inside, however, is double-brushed to the same soft, insulating comfort Iron Heart is known for, making this shirt a true cold-weather staple.

The brown check pattern blends earthy tones with deep navy and muted orange highlights, referencing vintage outdoor shirts from the 1960s. The twill-woven slub yarn amplifies the visual movement within the plaid, giving the shirt an almost heathered, dimensional look that separates it from traditional Western flannels.

Cut in Iron Heart’s classic Western silhouette, it features snap buttons, pointed yokes, and impeccable single-, double-, and triple-needle construction — all executed in Japan using poly-cotton thread for long-term durability.
