Pure Blue Japan 2236 8oz Overdyed Indigo Corduroy Curved Pocket Shirt – Indigo Black

Pure Blue Japan takes the Western shirt in a direction few brands could. The 2236-IDBK is made from fine-wale corduroy that delivers a cleaner, more refined look than traditional heavy cord, while staying soft, flexible, and comfortable enough for everyday wear. Its standout feature is the distinctive curved construction across the yoke and chest pockets, giving the shirt movement and unmistakable PBJ character.

The fabric begins with an indigo yarn-dye process before being overdyed in black, creating a dark, saturated tone with real depth. Beneath the surface, the indigo base remains alive. With wear and washing, the black top layer gradually recedes, revealing subtle blue undertones and a personalized fade pattern unique to the owner. It is a fabric designed to improve through use.
