In 1978, Jerry Garcia of the Grateful Dead revealed in a Pacifica Radio interview that his favorite reading material wasn’t a music magazine — it was the British sci-fi comic 2000 AD, particularly the newly introduced antihero Judge Dredd. Created by John Wagner, Dredd’s dystopian world of Mega-City One served as a sharp satire of American society — tackling themes of authoritarianism, consumerism, and state power with dark humor and moral complexity.
This TSPTR tee unites two countercultural icons — the Grateful Dead’s free spirit and Judge Dredd’s anarchic edge — in one bold design printed in vivid yellow on vintage black. A wearable statement of rebellion and wit.
All TSPTR T-Shirts are ethically made from certified, high-quality organic cotton, using only water-based inks for the print.
