Prequel 10oz Archive Summer Sweat Henley – Black

Modeled after 1920s undergarments, the Prequel Summer Henley translates an early athletic staple into a relaxed short-sleeve design for warmer weather. The vintage-style shell button placket and wide neckline retain the character of its historical inspiration, while the relaxed silhouette gives it an easy, contemporary fit.

Made in Japan from 10oz cotton sweatshirt fleece, the fabric draws inspiration from American sweatshirts of the 1950s and 1960s. Open-end spun U.S. cotton yarns create a dry, slightly uneven surface with the broken-in character of vintage sportswear. On the reverse, 9-count slub yarn forms a soft looped backing that remains breathable and comfortable even as temperatures rise.

In Black, the textured fabric and contrasting shell buttons give the Henley a particularly clean, versatile appearance. Substantial enough to wear on its own yet light enough for summer, it combines vintage construction, distinctive texture and everyday comfort.
