Naked & Famous 20oz ‘Dirty Elephant’ Selvedge Jeans – True Guy / Regular Straight

Brutal weight. Subtle nuance. The Dirty Elephant Selvedge takes Naked & Famous’ legendary Elephant Series and layers it with the depth of their iconic Dirty Fade denim. Woven in Japan at a massive 20oz, this super heavyweight selvedge starts with rope-dyed indigo warp yarns spun from naturally dusty brown cotton. As wear sets in, the indigo slowly breaks away, exposing the earthy brown core beneath. The result is a fade pattern that feels raw, organic, and unmistakably dirty.

Despite its weight, the fabric is sanforized to control shrinkage, arriving raw and unwashed with a dense hand and serious presence. The denim feels stiff at first, but rewards patience with dramatic contrast, deep creasing, and layered fades that only get better with time.

Cut in the True Guy fit – medium high rise with extra room in the seat and thigh, falling straight from knee to hem – this silhouette balances structure and comfort. Finished with contrast stitching, silver hardware, a 5oz vegetable-tanned leather patch, and a custom red/white/red selvedge ID. Heavy denim, done right.
