TEN C 13oz OJJ Parka - Navy

TEN-C’s Parka is undoubtedly the most iconic Ten C garment. Its design was clearly inspired by the legendary M-51 Parka issued by the US Army in 1951. These Parkas offered improved weather protection compared to Field Jackets and became subcultural fashion statements during the 1960s. The M-51 parka became a cult item for Mods and the rebellious youth of the 1970s and 1980s. TEN-C’s version features a loose silhouette with a longer fishtail back and, of course, adapts well to variations in temperature.

TEN C’s Original Japanese Jersey (OJJ) is a garment-dyed knitted fabric constructed from polyester microfibers and nylon yarns, exclusively made for Ten C in Japan. The construction and dyeing process of the OJJ fabric result in a unique touch and feel, and essentially, this functional, lightweight, and breathable fabric will age similarly to a Horse Hide leather jacket with wear. The OJJ material begins with a certain stiffness that becomes softer with use and adapts, quite literally molding to your body.

All TEN C jackets are highly versatile and functional, easily complemented by each available Down Liner, Hooded Down Liner, and Shearling Liner style.
