Spellbound 12oz Ultra-Soft Selvedge Jeans - Light Wash / Regular Straight

Spellbound’s 40-701C Regular Straight takes inspiration from classic American five-pocket denim, reworked through a distinctly Japanese lens. Made from ultra-soft 12oz Japanese selvedge denim, the fabric is rope-dyed in indigo and woven with a soft, balanced texture that feels comfortable from the first wear while still offering long-term durability. This version features a noticeably lighter used wash, developed together with Toyowa to create a naturally faded appearance without harsh contrast or exaggerated whiskering.

The silhouette stays true to vintage denim with a medium rise and clean straight leg, slightly tapered for a more refined shape when worn. Traditional construction details such as hidden back pocket rivets, cotton-thread stitching, button fly, and selvedge outseam reflect the influence of mid-century Levi’s jeans without feeling overly nostalgic.
