Iron Heart 12oz Duck Canvas Hunting Vest – Olive / IHV-52

Rooted in the utilitarian hunting vests of the 1940s and ’50s, the Iron Heart IHV-52 takes a forgotten classic and rebuilds it with the brand’s signature precision. Stripped back in appearance but rich in purpose, this is a piece designed to be worn hard and evolve over time.

Constructed from 12oz Japanese duck canvas, the fabric offers a dense, dry hand with excellent resistance to wear. The yarns are direct-dyed, resulting in a slower, more subtle fading process that develops depth and character with use, without the high contrast of denim. One-washed after construction, the vest is pre-shrunk and ready to wear from day one.

Function defines the design: deep half-moon patch pockets, a reinforced double-layer placket, and oversized vintage-style buttons for ease of use. Adjustable rear waist cinches allow for a tailored fit, while multi-needle stitch construction ensures long-term durability.
