Studio D’Artisan SD-1001 15oz GL3 Slub Selvedge Jeans - Regular Straight

The SD-1001 is a classic straight-leg jean made from a fabric few machines can still produce. Woven on 1950s Toyoda GL3 shuttle looms, Japan’s first power looms, the denim is slow-made at 5 meters per hour - and full of texture, slub, and character.

This newly developed 15oz slub selvedge denim uses rope-dyed indigo yarns, giving it a rich tone and an incredible slubby structure. That unmistakable surface makes the fabric perfect in its imperfection!

Finished with meticulous details like custom SDA rivets, „Signature Pigs“ leather patch, hidden back pocket rivets, and nice selvedge detail at the coin pocket, these jeans are both a technical achievement and a timeless piece of Japanese denim culture made by one of the best - Studio D’Artisan.
