They called it Frankenstein for a reason. Like the creature in Shelley’s novel, this denim is stitched together from opposites: alternating left- and right-hand twill every 2 inches. The result is a wild, unstable weave - full of tension, full of character.
Woven in Japan from slubby yarns and weighing 14oz, the sanforized fabric arrives raw and unwashed. Its bold, uneven texture creates extreme contrast and grayish undertones, visible even before the first wear. Only through movement, time, and the first wash will it reveal its full personality.
Cut in the Weird Guy fit - medium high rise, relaxed top block, tapered leg - and finished with contrast stitching, silver hardware, button fly, and upside-down leather patch. Made in Canada.
