Dubble Works ‘Tsuri-Ami’ Loopwheeled Sweat Cardigan – Fade Orange

This „Tsuri-Ami“ (hanging knit) collared sweat cardigan from Dubble Works is knitted on original 1950s loopwheel machines, using a slow, low-tension process (only 20 meters a day) that allows air to enter the fabric. The result is an incredible brushed-back fleece with a soft, airy hand that retains its shape over years.

Made from pure cotton hanging fleece, the fabric is dense yet comfortable, with a natural texture reminiscent of vintage sportswear. The tubular body has no side seams, allowing it to drape cleanly and wrap naturally around the torso. Traditional flat-seam construction prevents bulk and enhances long-term comfort.

Cut in a slightly boxy mid-century silhouette, it features ribbed cuffs and hem, patch pockets, a structured collar, and classic cat-eye buttons.

Produced the slow way, this piece reflects a level of knit integrity that mass production simply cannot replicate.
