This special-edition Christy Vest blends Warehouse’s obsession with vintage accuracy and Rocky Mountain Featherbed’s cold-weather expertise into one of the finest down vests made today. Based on the iconic 1970s Western design from Jackson, Wyoming, it features the trademark one-piece horsehide yoke — a seamless panel cut from a single hide, chosen for its natural grain, scratches, and irregularities. Over time, it softens, darkens, and develops a rich patina unique to its wearer.

The outer shell and lining are made from custom 70-denier nylon taffeta, the same down-proof fabric RMFC developed during its revival. Lightweight, durable, and weather-resistant, it keeps the insulation perfectly in place. Inside, 700-fill-power European down (90% down / 10% feathers), washed and water-repellent processed in Japan, delivers serious warmth even in wet conditions.

A plush natural mouton collar, warm handwarmer pockets with Velcro reinforcement, brass snap buttons, and an interior zip pocket complete the build. Crafted in Japan with uncompromising craftsmanship, this vest is a true modern classic — built for cold winters, long seasons, and years of continuous wear.
