Naked & Famous 20oz ‘Dirty Elephant’ Selvedge Jeans – Weird Guy / Regular Tapered

They call it Dirty Elephant for a reason. This denim is heavy, stubborn, and unapologetically raw. At 20oz, the Elephant 14 sits deep in heavyweight territory, but its real character lies beneath the surface.

Woven in Japan, the warp yarns are rope-dyed in indigo yet spun from naturally dusty brown cotton. As the jeans wear in, the indigo breaks down layer by layer, revealing a warm, earthy brown core instead of clean white. The result is a fade that feels gritty, organic, and unmistakably lived-in. Dense and rigid at first, the fabric softens slowly while holding its structure, setting deep creases and high-contrast wear patterns over time.

Cut in the Weird Guy fit with a medium high rise, standard thigh, and subtle taper, and finished with contrast stitching, silver hardware, a 5oz vegetable-tanned leather patch, and a red/white/red selvedge ID. Heavyweight denim, done with intent. Built by Naked & Famous to be worn hard.
