Momotaro 0605-IM 15.7oz ‘Indigo Mint’ Selvedge Jeans – Indigo Mint / Regular Tapered

A rare find from Momotaro’s 2023 collection, the 0605-IM “Indigo Mint” combines the brand’s signature Japanese denim craftsmanship with one of its most distinctive color concepts. At its heart is a special version of Momotaro’s 15.7oz selvedge denim, woven from 100% Zimbabwe cotton with a deep rope-dyed indigo warp and an unusual mint-blue weft.

The turquoise-blue weft gives the otherwise dark indigo denim a vibrant blue cast that becomes even more pronounced with wear. As the indigo gradually fades, the mint-colored yarns increasingly interact with the surface, creating a highly individual combination of high-contrast fading, vertical texture, and cool blue undertones.

Momotaro carries the color concept through the details, including mint-blue “Going to Battle” stripes across the back pocket, while the signature pink selvedge ID and pink inseam stitching reference the peach from the Japanese Momotaro folktale.

The 0605 Natural Tapered fit offers a higher rise and generous room through the thighs before tapering moderately toward the hem. Finished with custom hardware, hidden copper rivets, and a vegetable-tanned cowhide patch, this is a particularly distinctive Momotaro release — and a rare opportunity to pick up a model originally released in 2023.
