The Samurai Jeans Kurozan Belt is crafted from vegetable-tanned Tochigi leather and dyed with Yamato Indigo. This indigo-dyed cowhide leather, known as "Kurozan," undergoes multiple rounds of hand-dyeing, resulting in a rich, deep-blue finish. The traditional tannin-tanning process makes the leather exceptionally durable and flexible, while the intricate dyeing method enhances color fastness, surpassing that of typical indigo products.
Historically used in Samurai armor, Kurozan leather remains a key material for high-quality kendo armor today. Finished with a brass buckle and a subtle Samurai stamp, this belt is more than just functional and elegant—it’s a testament to Japanese craftsmanship and tradition.
