The Strike Gold are the undisputed kings of Slubbiness. Tohru and Yoshiko Hamamoto are the masterminds behind this mystical brand from Kojima, Okayama. The lovely couple is so passionate and particular about their denim, that they try to stretch all imaginable denim boundaries with every fabric they create.

The SG5109 jeans is made from Strike Gold's signature Original 15oz Right Hand Weave Slub Selvedge. A low tension weave constructed of pure indigo warp and grey weft yarns. Creating this unsurpassed slubby selvedge fabric is extremely time and cost intensive. Just to give you an impression: one shuttle loom can only weave 40 meters of this fabric in 24 hours and to produce one pair of Jeans you need approx. 2,7 meters of denim – you do the math.

The SG5109 fit is the slimmest cut Strike Gold is offering: a tight tapered silhouette featuring a medium high rise with a narrow leg opening.

IMPORTANT:
These Jeans run quite small, please size up. Nonetheless tight is right, please keep in mind that the waist will stretch with wear.
