For the 8.5oz heavyweight loopwheeled fabric, Samurai uses only high-quality raw cotton, spun into thick, irregular 14-thread yarns. The fabric is meticulously knitted on a vintage "Daimaruki" loopwheel machine (producing about 1 meter of fabric per hour), a machine that was widely used in Japan during the first half of the 20th century.
