Japan Blue's Monpe pants are inspired by traditional Japanese clothing, with the basic design idea for the pleated design being Hakamas, which are mostly known in Europe through martial arts.

The cut of the Monpe Trouser is classically pleasing above the knee, with the leg tapering slightly towards the hem. The 11oz Sashiko fabric is not only superior to the touch, but an absolute eye-catcher.
