Iron Heart 12oz Dobby Work Shirt – Indigo Dyed / IHSH-380

Finally! We've always wondered when our Iron Heart friends would release an indigo-dyed dobby or sashiko shirt, and with their 12oz Dobby Cloth Work Shirt, they've truly achieved a masterpiece.

Sashiko is a traditional form of Japanese embroidery dating back to the 17th century, used for both decorative and functional reinforcement of fabrics. With a translation meaning "little stabs," the technique involves a running stitch that inserts aesthetically pleasing geometric patterns into a piece of fabric while simultaneously reinforcing the weave for added durability.

The original Iron Heart fabric is brimming with character; the warp threads are indigo rope-dyed, meaning the color will fade with wear and washing, while the weft yarns and sashiko thread are cheese and reactive-dyed respectively, ensuring they won't fade.

Please note that the sleeves fit slightly narrower than usual at the forearm!
