The scarf has been tightly knitted on a 5 gauge flat knitting machine with 6 threads extra spun Corriedale wool for a heavy quality. Because of its compact structure, loops are less likely to be caught when wearing!
Corriedale Wool from Patagonia
Corriedale wool comes from a robust sheep breed developed by crossing Merino and Lincoln sheep. Raised in the open, windswept plains of Patagonia, these animals produce a long, resilient fiber that balances softness, strength, and natural elasticity.
Slightly coarser than ultra-fine Merino, Corriedale wool offers greater durability, structure, and resistance to pilling, making it ideal for heavy knitwear that retains its shape while remaining comfortable to wear.
