Stevenson Overall’s Imperial jeans is a true magnum opus in their wide range of beautiful denims, it might be best described as a fusion of Stevenson’s sophisticated originality and classic Vintage details. Composed of a deeper rise, a roomy top block and a gentle taper from knee to hem. Of course, the Imperial features all these nice little details, we love so much: boldly arched back pockets, multiple combinations of curved lines in various parts of the design, and V-shaped belt loops. The Stevenson handmade process of crafting each pair can be seen by the single stitch flat felled seam construction, originally used for jeans during the 1920s. The Imperial is made from Stevenson’s signature 13oz selvedge denim, which is exclusively woven for them by renowned Kuroki mill in Okayama. The denim features an uneven slubby texture with a beautiful subtle green cast.
