Sugar Cane’s Beach Cloth Vest is an authentic reproduction of a 1950s work vest made from durable and super warm beach cloth. Original beach cloth was first introduced in 1901 by William W. Brown. Nowadays the salt and pepper appearance of Beach Cloth is synonymous with both its inventors name and the original garment, a blend of 61% wool / 39% cotton two-ply weave. Beach cloth is one of those iconic workwear garments and was well appreciated among workers, hunters and fisherman suffering from harsh North American winter conditions.
