A Samurai Jeans ripened cotton loopwheel t-shirt celebrating the beauty of the Osaka prefecture. Both, the Mozu bird (bull-headed shrike) and Ume (Plum blossoms) are famous symbols of the prefecture.
The t-shirt is made from Samurai’s original 7oz loopwheel fabric using ripened cotton fibers. Samurai mellowed the cotton for 50 days in a greenhouse to recreate its original prime quality and the superior softness of freshly picked fibers. For the ripened cotton t-shirt-series the fabric is carefully tubular knitted on Vintage loopwheel machines in Wakayama (half a meter of fabric per hour). In terms of high-quality cotton fabrics, this garment is as good as it gets.
