Filson Dry Backpack – Flame

The Filson Dry Backpack is a straight-forward fully-waterproof roll-top monster, that comfortably carries the heaviest gear, engineered for the wettest conditions and for the long haul.

Built with tough 840-denier nylon tarpaulin fabric coated with thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU), water simply cannot penetrate it. The advantages of using a nylon fabric with this coating rather than polyester or canvas are lightness of weight, flexibility and abrasion resistance.

Built to industrial standards, it’s thoughtfully designed in Filson’s Seattle headquarters for comfort and maximum functionality. The breathable back panel is padded with high-density EVA foam for carrying comfort, and the adjustable, padded shoulder straps are anatomically-curved to match the shape of your body. With a sternum strap that’s adjustable for position and width, the load will be secure with no concern about straps slipping off your shoulders. The top closure is a reliable and time-proven roll-top design. With the top rolled down three turns and snugly buckled with the side-cinch straps, water cannot enter the bag. This closure design also affords the ability to compress the bag for varying load sizes.
