Each pair of Chup Socks is a piece of art. Using rich colourful patterns from cultural backgrounds all over the world. Each pair of Chup's has been slowly knitted on Vintage Knitting Machines. Just to give you an idea of their craftsmanship and attention to detail each knitting machine can only knit 20 pairs per day.
GANADO pattern: There were traditionally designed blankets up until the 1930s in the Ganado region of Arizona. This CHUP design is among our most popular from our archives of Native American styles. A spec-dyed recycled yarn is used to further enhance the expression of this design.
Fabric: These socks use combed cotton yarn, which is a very soft version of regular cotton. Combed cotton doesn't have any impurities or short protruding threads, is stronger than regular cotton, and is made by treating the cotton fibers before they are spun into yarn.
